Ways to ease dysphoria! Collected from a post on egg_irl, thank you to everyone who gave input to this! 💙💕🤍💕💙• Read an interesting book! This can be a very good distraction, as it engages your mind in the storyline!
• Play some video games! This is one of my personal favourites as it is fun and distracting from dysphoria.
• Listen to music, or a podcast. I have heard comedy ones are good for a laugh when you're dysphoric.
• Watch a TV show, one of your favourites would be ideal. I like to snuggle up under a blanket, but that's just down to personal preference!
• Art! Now I'm not much of an artist but this could be quite relaxing for you if you enjoy it!
•You could roleplay, by writing up a story about a character with your preferred name and pronouns. This could even trigger some euphoria!
• Go for a walk in a park or somewhere! It can help with clearing your head, and it has brightened up my day before!
Listed down below are some options that may not be available to everyone, but could make you happy if they are available to you!•Dress in accordance to your gender! Eg. Skirt for transfemmes, Worktrousers/Workboots for transmascs (idk) and neutral for enbys ig? (idk x2)
•Play as a character that aligns with your gender in VR! This sounds VERY euphoric, but I haven't tried so I wouldn't know.
• If you have a pet, give them a hug! It could brighten both your day and their day!
